Week 1: Tue 30^th July, 5.45 – 7.45pm

Intro to Cartooning, Art Materials & Facial Expressions.

 

  

Week 2: Tue 6^th Aug, 5.45 – 7.45pm

Male / Female Characters, Basic Caricature & Cartoon Animals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Week 3: Tue 13^th Aug, 5.45 – 7.45pm

Creating 3D Cartoon Faces (using balloons & clay).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Week 4: Tue 20^th Aug, 5.45 – 7.45pm

Drawing Hands, Bodies, Clothing & Use of Body Language.

 

Week 5: Tue 27^th Aug, 5.45 – 7.45pm

Developing Comic Strips, Writing & Humour.

Also: Marketing, Publishing (online & print) & Copyright.

*Ideal chronological age:

16 – 99 years

(although being “grown-up” is not essential).

Class size will be limited to 15 students

so booking is essential.

No previous drawing experience is necessary.

Workshop 1: Cartooning Basics & Drawing Animals

Tue 9^th July from 1.30 – 4.00pm.

 

 

 

 

Workshop 2: Creating 3-D Cartoons Using Clay & Balloons

Wed 10^th July from 1.30 – 4.00pm.

 

Ideal student age: 6 – 11 years.

But all ages / abilities will be considered.

Each class is limited to 16 students.

No previous drawing experience necessary.

Cost: $50 per child (per class).

ALL basic art materials

& afternoon tea provided.

Discounts will be offered to parents / caregivers on low incomes

or repeat / multiple bookings.
